Marina Yates Romero is a Sr. Smart Hiring Consultant and Solutions Lead at Interfell. She works with founders, CEOs and CTOs in the United States, Canada and Latin America who want to build tech and sales teams in LATAM, using a consultative approach: understand the role, map the talent market and recommend the route that fits best across recruiting, staffing and payroll.
She joined Interfell in 2020 as a Business Developer, became an Account Manager in 2021 and has been a senior Smart Hiring Consultant since 2023. In December 2025 she also took on the Solutions Lead role, guiding the sales team in consultative selling. She has run searches for companies in fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, e-learning and software development.
Before Interfell she was a financial services analyst at CONDUSEF, Mexico's financial consumer protection agency, and worked in business development and sales at Plenumsoft and Aptem. She holds a degree in Business Administration with a marketing specialization from Instituto Tecnológico de Mérida. She lives in Mérida, Mexico.
